Bowen TherapyBowen Therapy developed by Tom Bowen is a gentle soft tissue therapy that uses cross fiber moves over muscles ligaments and tendons causing subtle shifts to our skeletal alignment. Excellent for conditions such as lower back pain, sciatica, pelvic pain, TMJ, knee problems, headaches, neck and shoulder issues.
Direct Myofascial TherapyAnother gentle hands on therapy where we place sustained pressure via our fingers or elbow along the length of the myofascial tissue for extended periods of time usually 30 seconds or more or until we feel the tissue soften. Often the client is asked to contract the muscle at the same time so as to amplify the intervention.
trigger point TherapyThis therapy is also effective for chronic pain issues, developed by Drs. Janet Travell and David Simons. Deep sustained pressure is applied to highly sensitive pressure points found in the muscles. These trigger points are usually located away from the area of pain. They can be easily worked on by clients as part of a self maintenance routine.

Cranio Sacral therapyCST addresses the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using very light palpation one can release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. Profound relaxation is often achieved.
